Day 1 – Arusha to Arusha National Park
Your adventure begins as your guide picks you up from your Arusha hotel between 8:00–8:30 AM. Explore Arusha National Park with both game drives and a guided walking safari. The park offers stunning scenery, including forest habitats home to black-and-white colobus monkeys, and lakes often covered in flamingos. You may spot giraffes, buffalos, and other wildlife from a distance. Overnight at Mvuli Hotel, Arusha (or similar).
Day 2 – Tarangire National Park
Depart at 6:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full day of game drives spotting lions, leopards, cheetahs, kudu, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. Lunch will be at a scenic picnic spot. Dinner and overnight at Nsya Lodge (Safari Bungalow) (or similar).
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, blue monkeys, and—if luck is on your side—tree-climbing lions. In season, millions of flamingos can be seen along the shoreline. Overnight at Nsya Lodge (or similar).

Day 4 – Transfer to Serengeti & Afternoon Game Drives
After breakfast, travel through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the Serengeti. Pass Maasai villages before entering the park around midday. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Seronera area, known for its abundant wildlife. Overnight at Tukaone Camps (or similar).
Optional add-ons: Maasai Village visit ($35 pp), Olduvai Gorge Museum ($45 pp).
Day 5 – Full-Day Serengeti Game Drives
Spend the day exploring Central Serengeti on an 8–9 hour game drive. Expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife around the Seronera River. Overnight at Tukaone Camps (or similar).
Optional add-ons: Balloon safari ($580 pp), Walking safari ($55 pp sharing / $70 solo).
Day 6 – Morning Serengeti Drive & Transfer to Karatu
Start with an early morning game drive before heading back toward Karatu via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Overnight at Crater Rim Inn (or similar).
Optional add-ons: Maasai Village visit ($35 pp), Olduvai Gorge Museum ($45 pp).
Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour game drive. Spot lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, hippos, and a variety of birds including flamingos and eagles. Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool before ascending and returning to Arusha. Overnight at Mvuli Hotel (or similar).
Day 8 – Materuni Falls & Coffee Tour
Drive to Materuni village at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Hike to the waterfall, swim in its pool, and enjoy a Swahili/Chagga lunch. Experience coffee-making with the local tribe before returning to Arusha or transferring to the airport.
