Day 1 – Transfer & Afternoon Game Drive
Start: 6:30 AM from Arusha after breakfast, with packed lunch.
Scenic drive through Mto Wa Mbu, Karatu highlands, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive at Serengeti gate around 1:00 PM, enter the park, and head to the Seronera area—rich in wildlife due to the Seronera River.
Afternoon game drive until ~5:30 PM.
Overnight: Tukaone Camps or similar.
Optional: Maasai Village tour ($35 pp) or Olduvai Gorge Museum visit ($35 pp).
Day 2 – Full Day Safari
Depart 8:00 AM with packed lunch for a full-day (8–9 hrs) game drive in Central Serengeti.
Return to camp around 5:30 PM.
Overnight: Tukaone Camps or similar.
Optional: Balloon Safari ($580 pp) or Walking Safari (3–4 hrs, $55 pp sharing / $70 solo).
Early breakfast and 6:30 AM departure for morning game drive until around noon.
Exit Serengeti, pass through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Overnight: Crater Rim Inn or similar in Karatu.
Early breakfast, then descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-hour game drive.
Wildlife highlights: lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, hyenas, jackals, rhinos, and various birds (including flamingos).
Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, then ascend to the crater rim.
Overnight: Nsya Lodge (Safari Bungalow) or similar.
Optional: Crater Rim Hike (3 hrs, $55 pp).
8:00 AM departure to Tarangire National Park (2.5 hrs drive) with packed lunch.
Park highlights: massive baobab trees, large elephant herds, and wildlife like lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, and oryx.
Picnic lunch in a scenic spot, followed by more game drives.
Afternoon drive back to Arusha, arriving ~6:00 PM.
End of Tour – Hotel in Arusha available at extra cost.
